Help Robertson Fire Protection District give the boot to muscular dystrophy!
This summer, RFPD firefighters will be collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Fill the Boot” campaign. You can stop by Cabela’s (5555 St. Louis Mills Blvd #167, Hazelwood, MO 63042) and make your donation between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on:
• Saturday, June 15
• Saturday, July 13
• Saturday, Aug. 10
More than 100,000 firefighters participated in the “Fill the Boot” campaign in 2018, raising $20 million to help fund research for new treatments, support MDA care centers for families and send children to MDA summer camp.
“We are excited to participate in this wonderful firefighter tradition,” RFPD Chief Don Miner says. “Muscular dystrophy is a rare but often devastating disease, and we’re proud to be able to do our part in helping to make a difference for the families facing this diagnosis.”
